ANOTHER CHANCE FEATURING DAVE MATTHEWS AND COACH SABAN

Sometimes, you have to pinch yourself—they say moments like these are rare! For one of the biggest college football games of the season, Alabama vs. Georgia, my amazing CCU Team and I were inspired to create something truly unique.

“Out of My Hands” by Dave Matthews has always touched my heart, and now, I find myself at The Gorge with him directing this amazing l track. It feels like everything in life has come full circle!

Words may fall short, but I want to acknowledge the wonderful people who made this dream a reality: my friends at Red Light Management, Bruce Flohr, the fantastic Dave Matthews Crew, and a heartfelt shoutout to Fenton, our magic man! My partners in crime—JL, Lauren, and Jules from CCUCFB—have been incredible. Also, a big thank you to Kevin and Joanne Strange from ESPN Music, my late-night editor Chris Fernandez, color wizard Andrew, Jason and Jordan, the Seattle DPS crew, our awesome production support from Michelle and Hannah, and the talented Marla Manes for still photography. Honestly, the collaboration with these brilliant creative minds has been a blessing!

But wait, there’s more! Our adventure grew even greater as we navigated the whirlwind of College Game Day and beyond. Coach Saban made it a point to join us in celebrating the game with an original shoot at the very top of the stadium. The shots we captured together will feel timeless, and it was an honor to share this moment with him. A special thank you to our friend, Amy Milam at CAA Sports, and to Coach Saban, The Million Dollar Band, and the University of Alabama.

Sitting at the piano at The Gorge or soaking in the grandeur of The Million Dollar Band is incredibly humbling. Collaborating with such a kind-hearted team has truly enriched the experience.

Above all, I couldn't be happier for Dave Matthews being inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! As a long-time follower of the band, their music has woven itself into my life's narrative—from my early days at The Covered Dish in Gainesville, Florida, to Central Park, and all the way to The Gorge. Until we meet again, let’s keep dancing! Thank you Dave!
