SERENA CELEBRATES IN QUEENS

I love when moments are real. Nike invited the team to a debut of a new clothing line with Serena. After years of filming her, I really wanted to capture a moment that was authentic.

With kids from neighboring boroughs surprised by her arrival, Serena was as gracious and humble and kind to these aspiring young women. It was a real moment that really expressed how much she gives both on and off the court of itself.. My director of photography, Jason, knocked the moment out of the ballpark…and with some careful chosen words by Jeff Sarokin , the editing of Thuy, and music of Kaleena Zanders, we weaved a story that I couldn’t be more prouder of.
